Of course, anyone who knows me well knows my favorite place to eat is Taco Bell- and second is Pizza Hut. Fort Bragg has both of these, but there are several other good places to eat as well.
For breakfast alone, there are about a dozen choices in dining establishments. From fast food to coffee houses to a more homelike environment, the choices are abundant.
One of the more popular diners in Fort Bragg is Egg Heads. The owners have developed a Wizard of Oz theme that customers have come to cherish.
David’s Deli is the place to go if you want a warm, personable experience. Many of the regulars are served coffee in their personal mugs.
I always enjoyed eating at David’s. They were always really nice, and their prices were reasonable. In fact, the portions were pretty big with enough to take home for a second meal. Plus, their food was really good.

If you are looking for a more sophisticated environment and menu, you might want to head over to Cucina Verona. They serve a more exotic Italian menu with a Northern California Flare.
They also have local grass-fed beef on the menu and offer specials including a “family night” where the entire family can dine without breaking the bank.
Angelina’s is your basic family restaurant. It is easily located on the main drag. They serve meals throughout the day. They also have a lounge where they hold karaoke.
I do not typically go in search of hot dogs when I want to eat out. However, one day I was looking for a quick snack while running errands & found a hot dog to die for at Columbi’s Market & Deli.
One of these hot dogs might just hit the spot if you are craving a yummy lunch. On the other hand, if it’s a burger you’re craving you won’t find any better than Jenny’s Giant Burger. Here are some more ideas for your mid-day meal.
If it’s pizza you are after, there are two pizza houses that are always a good choice. Bernillo’s has really good pies.
Another really awesome pizza joint is the family-owned restaurant- D’Aurelio’s.
It is a really popular place & is always packed.
They have super cheesy pizza that is muy nummy.
They also have pasta. I tried their spaghetti. It was okay & was pretty much enough for two meals.
The lasagna was much better, in my opinion.
There are a lot of really good dinner places in Fort Bragg. One of the best features of this coastal town is the fresh seafood that can be found at many local stores and restaurants.
Mayan Fusion also has really good food. I have never liked cole slaw, but I tried theirs & it’s pretty good.
There are several superb dining establishments down in the harbor. Another really great diner is in Dolphin Cove. You will feel like you are lost but trust me- when you reach the diner you will not be sorry you went.
There are plenty of places that will satisfy your sweet tooth too. Probably the most popular treat shop in Fort Bragg is Cowlick’s Ice Cream Shoppe.
For gourmet goodies, head on over to the Sweet Affair on Main Street. The Cookie Company has more than cookies. You can also get muffins, scones, and coffee there. And if you go during the last business hour of the day you will score some half-priced cookies.
