The Getty Museum in Pacific Palisades, California, is an amazing gallery that highlights history, art, and culture. Historians, docents, and staff study artifacts and display them with the goal of creating new perspectives on the present.
The Historical center is pretty magnificent. It is set up like an ancient Roman Country House. An arena has even been built to give the feel of the environment of the ancient Roman stadiums. A number of displays are arranged to help those taking tours to understand our history better.
The museum is located on the outskirts of Los Angeles and the grounds are simply awesome. Beautiful, amazing sights surround the museum including the Pacific Ocean. There are many places to sit and relax while enjoying the serene surroundings.
Tour guides take small groups through the various exhibits and explain the significance of the items on display. Visitors are welcome to stroll through the displays on their own as well. The entire excursion can be topped off with a meal in the museum’s cafe. They even have concerts and other presentations at the museum.
The Getty Museum contains a plethora of antiques and sculptures to check out. It is definitely something to see. The stately building simply takes your breath away as you walk through it. It really is quite the experience. The Getty Museum gets a great big Cookie cheer, and I highly recommend taking a tour.
